Loud and not proud
Sometimes it is not easy, being proud of your own country, especially if politics like this ugly thing are going on. Come on, Austria is one of the richest countries in the world, does it really have to be that way? I really feel ashamed about such stuff. One can only hope that Mrs. Haubner and the whole other incompentent bunch from the BZÖ (damnit, she used to be a teacher for needlework) will be replaced as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I don't get much of the media reaction and the people's reaction here, but I fear there's not a big blow about it.

Heard it on the radio yesterday and reacted just like you, the only ones cheering are of courste the FPÖ. The rest of us just get naucious.
i totally agree with you. silly things are going on here. aren't we living in a welfare state? there is no legal basis for such a order. i guess there are too many bored idiots sitting around in the new-renovated parliament and gambling - in this case - with lives.
